THE FLAMENCO STUDIO

Diana Reyes began teaching full time in 1992 at The Old Flour Mill Studios, Newtown. The newly renovated Flamenco Studio is now located at 585B King Street, Newtown.

The Flamenco Studio has a unique ambience and is equipped with a sprung dance floor of approximately 80sqm, full length mirrors and change rooms. The studio can be converted into an intimate performance space for professional shows with full lighting and sound system.

The Flamenco Studio specialises in, and is recognised for its high standard of dance and music in the art of ‘pure flamenco’. Several students have pursued professional dance careers both in Australia and Spain. It is also a well known training ground for flamenco guitarists to gain indepth knowledge and experience of flamenco in Australia.

Classes are available for all levels from beginners to advanced with guitar and singing accompaniment for most classes.
